Cheers to my 22nd year!

Hours have passed since my birthday, yet I still can't accept the fact that I am now 22 YEARS OLD! GAAAAAH! And to be honest, it was not as fun as my other birthdays, since I was not able to go out... and to make the matter even worse, since I decided to hide my birthday on my facebook timeline (for experimental purposes), some of my friends even forgot that it was my birthday and were not able to greet me. haha. Well, I really can't blame them. We do get busy at some point in our lives, maybe today's one of their busy ones.

Nevertheless, I'm really thankful for those people who shared this special day with me and made me feel loved. A wakeup facetime call from a good friend, those text message / iMessage from friends and family members, those comments on my instagram, those greetings from facebook, a birthday cake from mom & dad, those last minute (but still sweet) greetings from good friends, and of course, a birthday song & hug from my cutest nephew really made my day!

Thanks to our Creator for giving me a truly blessed year and for giving me such wonderful family and friends. I'm deeply thankful! :D

P.S.

I still accept late greetings, but with gift as a penalty. HAHA. just kidding for the gift part! :D

Just a Past Time

This is what I do whenever I'm bored and have lots of free time.
A good way to de-stress myself with all those school stuff, thesis to name a few.
Singing is what I love.
I don't care much on how I sound.
I do this not to impress, but to express. :)
This is strictly amateur singing! hahahaha.

So prepare your ears and have fun listening!

Everybody is free to comment, suggest, or request. :)

Ready, Aim, Fire!

I had a super duper fun and adventurous week. Lots of new things and experiences in just a span of a week. I rarely do blogs twice in a row, but this is just too memorable for me that I had to share it.

I think the title, somewhat, gave you a hint of what happened today. :))
If not, here are some pictures to help you.

Yes! You got it right! We had a gun safety seminar and had some practice shooting. It was my first time to hold a gun.. and what made it awesome-r is that I got the chance to fire it. I can't believe that I actually hit the target, not once.. not twice.. a lot! I had a couple of single and multiple target rounds and not once did I missed! Not bad for a newbie eh?! ;) I never pictured myself holding a gun and also never thought of firing one, that's why I'm still in awe that this REALLY happened.
I hope this would not be the last time I'll be doing this. I'm wishing that in the next firing, there would be a bull's eye target so I can see how accurate my shooting is.

Truly an EXTRAORDINARY experience!

Oh! I enjoyed the boodle fight, btw! The REAL highlight of the day! haha

Happy Time in Happy Lemon!

After a week of stress and disappointments, we found an opportunity to unwind and have fun.
To make the 11/11/11 day special, we decided to go to Eastwood! I was very excited, since it was my first time to go to the place, and I'm really thankful that I got to spend it with my IE friends.

It was an ADVENTURE! Commuting is a real challenge. I imagined ourselves joining the "Amazing Race", like we were the lost contestants asking for directions. The looooong walk was extremely exhausting, but it was worth it. Like our other trips, deciding where to eat, still became the problem. haha. what's new? :))

I was really hesitant, at first, to eat in a seafood restaurant since I'm not a fan of seafoods, but when I saw that they also serve meat, I joined their decision. The foods were AWESOME! I enjoyed it and ate a lot!

See what I mean?

After having the mouth-watering food I showed you, we continue on exploring the mall and see if there's something that we might want to buy. They found and bought couple of things. Unfortunately, the things I want, were too expensive for my budget. I really wished my parents were with me that time. haha. But no worries! I'll be back soon -- this time with my parents. Maybe then I can afford them. HAHA.

Then after the shopping, Happy Lemon came next! Yay!
I did not regret having their Milk Tea with Oreos and Cream.
Omnomnom. Delicioso!, as Dora's backpack would say! :))
Can't wait to try the others.

After some happy time in happy lemon,
we decided to go home.
Who would knew that commuting back home would become twice as difficult as going to the place.
We had another loooong walk to look for a ride and it had me sweating like hell! Good thing i brought 2 hankies with me. hahaha.
After sometime, we found our ride and finally got home.
Safe and Alive! Thanks to God! :))

I had a BLAST! Hope we can go back soon and try Red Box,
but I DO HOPE we have a car next time around. hahaha. ;)

Small Things Make Me Happy

I have come across one of the comments that I failed to read (because the oh-so-great blogger sent it to spam). I would like to dedicate this post to the person who wrote this:

Whoever you are, I know it's late... but I want you to know that you made me feel a whole lot better. It feels good to know that my works are appreciated. I'm extremely grateful. Thank you. :))

The Tangled Experience

I never thought that i will be able to fly one of these Sky Lanterns that I see in movies.

Difficult to set up? YES. but i tell you.... IT's ALL WORTH IT!

See how our babies fly:

Beautiful, isn't it? :))
I'm still in awe, seeing how our Sky Lanterns take off.
and with that, i can say that I now believe in fairytales 'coz we just made Tangled happen! :))
Can't wait for our next Sky Lantern flying.
